The Tom Stanley Memorial Scholarship was fully endowed through a donation presented to Lisa Clark, director of institutional advancement and SCC President Dr. Tony Clarke by Mary Alice Stanley, wife of Tom Stanley.  The funds to endow the scholarship were raised through a dinner dance held at Vineland Station on June 14 and a golf tournament held at Land O’ Lakes golf course on June 15. The donation was over $30,000. There was tremendous support from local businesses and individuals from Columbus County as well as outside of the area. This scholarship will benefit the Broadcasting and Production Technology program, the Nursing program and students involved with the athletics program at SCC.
