Spring 2022 Nurse Pinning

Congratulations to the Class of 2022 Southeastern Community College nursing graduates.

On Thursday, May 12, SCC held an Associate Degree Nursing Pinning Ceremony. SCC graduated 20 students including Holly Allgood, Adrian Ammons, Erica Bass, Kristen Bryson, Sarah Bullard, Kelly Caulder, Atara Chase-Dey, Megan Daniels, Abigail Fulford, Marlena Gore, Jessica Griffin, Lacey Hinson, Kaitlin McPherson, Dylan Newman, Ellen Simpson, Deonca Smith, Heidi Strickland, Riley Tompkins, Brianna Tyler, and Sally Walters.

The ceremony included a Blessing of the Hands by Rev. Jeremy Simmons, Chaplain of Columbus Regional Hospital. Scholarships were announced for Nicole Simpson and Jessica Griffin. Simpson received the Fox Family Scholarship and Griffin received the Eleen Williams Scholarship. Rena Smith presented a class gift to Jessica Hill, Director of Nursing. The gift was a financial gift to cover the 2022-2023 nursing student fees.
