Rams Club Seeks Members to Support SCC Athletics
The Rams Club is critical to the success of SCC's baseball and softball teams because community colleges in North Carolina cannot use state funds to support athletics.

Basic Skills Plus Participants Receive Career Training While Completing a GED
"The Basic Skills Plus Program supports student success by providing participants with real-world job skills while they complete their GED," said Karen Gore, Basic Skills Plus career coach. "We have found that the accelerated timeline and close integration of Basic Skills instruction with workforce preparation really motivates the students."

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Celebration (Thursday, Jan 26, Noon, Auditorium)
Join the SCC Student Government Association and the Champs Program as we pay homage to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Nationally recognized motivational speaker Tawan Perry will deliver a thought provoking message following a performance by the SCC Choir. Our program will address questions and more in an engaging, vibrant fashion with plenty of room for discussion. Taking into account Dr. King's words and actions, as well as the effect he had on people who heard him, Perry will deliver a program that will gives a glimpse into Martin Luther King's life and what his leadership, mentorship, and legacy means for present day America.

Rams Club Boston Butt Sale (Saturday, Feb 18, 12:30-2:00 pm, Rams Field House)
