Southeastern Community College (SCC) is excited to announce the opening of its summer registration, including the eagerly anticipated high school summer camps, now in their third year. This summer, SCC continues its commitment to providing accessible, quality education and training to Columbus County and surrounding areas, with a special focus on high demand fields. 

These summer camps, offered at no cost to participants, include seven dynamic areas: Agriculture, Automotive, Construction, Emergency Medical Responder, Engineering, Healthcare Exploration, and Welding. Aimed at students in the classes of 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027, these camps not only allow students to explore their interests but also offer the opportunity to earn both high school and college credits, along with industry-recognized credentials. Thanks to our partnerships with Columbus County Schools and Whiteville City Schools, camps are 100% FREE. Meals and transportation are also included. SCC’s summer offerings don’t stop at camps for high schoolers. The college also provides a wide range of courses for adults looking to advance their careers or change paths, all part of SCC’s mission to drive workforce development and support the economic growth of Columbus County.
