Quantitative and scientific literacy is knowledge that is derived through the comprehension and practice of mathematics and scientific method and manifests itself in daily life. Students will demonstrate their understanding by solving problems and making subsequent decisions based on the use of process, procedures or evidence proven through math and science.

The Associate in General Education curriculum is designed for the academic enrichment of students who wish to broaden their education, with emphasis on personal interest, growth and development. Coursework includes study in the areas of humanities and fine arts, social and behavioral sciences, natural sciences and mathematics and english composition.

Students are encouraged to contact their advisor to ensure the proper completion of all general education curriculum, as well as plan their coursework for their desired degree or certification program.
