Southeastern Community College does not accept the transfer of annual leave or bonus leave from other agencies. Employees terminating employment at SCC will be paid for any unused accrued annual leave or bonus leave unless the employee request this leave to be transferred to the new employing agency in accordance with the new agency’s policies and procedures.
Newly hired full-time or part-time employees who were previously employed by another qualifying North Carolina agency covered under North Carolina General Statue 135 may transfer to Southeastern Community College any unused sick leave earned at the other agency. Employees terminating employment at SCC may transfer unused sick leave to the new employing agency in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures.
