Southeastern Community College Richard F. Burkhard Performing Arts series announces the first show of the season with “Christmas with the Embers”. The concert will take place on Tuesday, November 30 at 7 p.m. in the SCC Auditorium.
Celebrate the season at Southeastern Community College as The Embers, featuring Craig Woolard, perform songs of the Christmas Season, beach music style.
The Embers have left their mark on listeners for decades. The Embers boast numerous albums and single releases that span decades and all the crazes continue to exhibit top-quality showmanship. Having been inducted into the South Carolina Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame and most recently the South Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame, The Embers are honored to carry the moniker of North Carolina’s Ambassadors of Beach Music.

Last Weekend the Rams took down #12 in the nation Pitt Community College, behind Garrett Wolffs career series. In game number 1 the Rams pulled the string on the Bulldogs in a hard-fought win. Garrett Wolff played a large part hitting 2 homers in the game. Lefrederick Wooten tallied a grand slam to the scoreboard. SCC is hosting a Rams Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 10:30am - 4:30pm. The college is celebrating baseball and softball sophomores who are graduating in May.
