SEFEA is next exhibit at Wyche Gallery

Friday, January 20th, 2017

The current exhibit in the Wyche Gallery at Southeastern Community College is titled New Conversations and features recent work of 19 members of the Southeastern Fiber Arts Educators Association (SEFEA). The show runs through February 17. A reception on Tuesday, January 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. is open to the public.

The SEFEA group was formed 15 years ago expressly for those teaching in university/college level fibers programs.
“We are focused on the development of the discipline, the development of our artwork, and the education of professional artists, designers and craftsmen working in the textile medium,” said the current SEFEA president, Susan Brandeis.
