Southeastern Community College is thrilled to announce the 60th commencement exercise for Friday, May 10th, 2024, honoring the graduating class of 2024. The event will be held outdoors on the front lawn of SCC, beginning at 9 am.

This year’s graduation marks a special milestone as SCC celebrates 60 years of opening doors to opportunities. We are eager to celebrate all our graduates have accomplished.

GRADUATION DAY SCHEDULE

FRIDAY, MAY 10th
8:00 am: Graduates report to the area in-between A and D for line up.

8:45 am: The graduation processional lineup will begin promptly. Please dress in proper attire that reflects the dignity of the occasion.

9:00 am: The graduation ceremony begins in front of the A-Building.

 

Rain Plan: In the event of rain, notifications will be sent out by text message and social media. The graduation ceremony will be held in the SCC Auditorium for graduates only. Additional guests will be allowed to view the graduation via live stream on the college’s YouTube channel at stations set up around campus in the following buildings: A, T, Cartrette, Library, and HHS. Following the graduation ceremony, two designated photo spots will be available in the A-Building parking lot. The area to the right of the balloon arch will be designated for University Transfer, while the area to the left will be for general photos. Guests are welcome to take photos at either location with their families and friends! Make sure to tag us @sccncrams.
