Thursday, June 28th, 2018

Southeastern Community College softball player, Cameron Sharpe, was selected as an All-American in the National Junior College Athletic Association, Division II.

Sharpe was the only North Carolina student athlete to earn this recognition on the softball First, Second or Third Team. While a student at Southeastern Community College, Sharpe also maintained recognition as a Scholar Athlete. This is the first time an athlete in the softball program has earned an All-American title.

The SCC Softball program continues to grow under the leadership of Coach Karlyn Stephens and has had 30+ wins for the past two seasons, finished 2nd in conference play and received votes for a national ranking this year.
