FREE Summer Welding Camp 2022

Friday, April 29th, 2022

Southeastern Community College and Columbus County Schools are partnering together to host a Summer Welding Camp. This is in addition to the popular Construction Camp that is running at the same time.

The cost to attend the camp is FREE.

Date: June 13 – July 27
Days: Monday – Thursday
Time: 8am – 5pm

Columbus County Schools (CCS) will be providing transportation and meals for students who attend CCS high schools thanks to a special federal grant that was awarded to Columbus County Schools. The grant is designed to boost interest and participation in Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, expose more students to the world of CTE, build learning opportunities, and expand opportunities to earn workplace credentials.

The deadline to apply is May 31.

Interested students can register early with Natalie Freeman, SCC Advisor, at (910) 788-6285 or call to learn more about opportunities in both the Welding Camp and the Construction Camp.
