Events to Honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Thursday, January 14th, 2021

Southeastern Community College will honor the life and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. throughout the month of January.

The 35th anniversary is on Monday, January 18, 2021. In previous years, celebrations have been held locally and nationally. However, COVID-19 has greatly impacted in-person services in our region but there are many virtual events available.

Join us as we honor Dr. King, a man who inspired a nation with his commitment to leading and advancing the civil rights movement in the 1950’s-60’. We welcome you to learn, listen and grow to understand racism and explore its impacts on society.
