Lifelong learning, as the name implies, is the continuous expansion, strengthening and diversification of one’s knowledge in a field of interest throughout an individual’s life. It is the continuous upkeep, so to speak, of one’s existing understanding of a certain topic and recognition of the multifaceted nature of any singular field. Lifelong learning is the pursuit of mastery of one’s field, as well as other topics and fields of interest.
