Southeastern Community College offers FREE college to all college-eligible students for the Spring 2022 semester. The deadline to apply is February 11, 2022.
New students can register in Student Services and current students can register with their faculty advisor and work with Financial Aid to complete a FAFSA in order to receive FREE college tuition. SCC FREE college will be a “last dollar” program, meaning the college will exhaust all other existing funding first.
The money is available through federal, state, and generous donor support. This assistance is meant to help students recover from the pandemic and get back to college.
The Financial Aid Office staff will work closely with students to help them apply for the funds that are best suited for their financial situation. Students should complete a FAFSA or equivalent application to have their financial needs evaluated in order to determine all of the financial resources that they may qualify for.
To register for Spring classes at (910) 788-6279.
For questions about enrolling at SCC for free, contact Financial Aid at (910) 788-6214.
*FREE college is available while funds are available. Students should enroll and apply early.
