Pianist Jialin Yao, born in 1999 in China, is celebrated for his mature and sensitive playing. A versatile musician, he serves as a secondary piano course teacher at the Juilliard School. Jialin has performed globally as a soloist, captivating audiences with a diverse repertoire. He is a Prize-winner in prestigious competitions, including the Friuli Venezia Giulia International Piano Competition. As a chamber musician, he collaborates with renowned artists and was selected for the Juilliard Honors Chamber Music program with his VIA piano trio. Jialin, guided by Sergei Babayan at Juilliard, believes in the transformative power of open-hearted and truthful musicians.
