The Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology diploma is designed to provide the student with a concentrated course of study in the field of air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration technology. The diploma program covers air conditioning, furnaces, heat pumps, tools and instruments. Diploma graduates should be able to assist in the start up, preventive maintenance, service, repair, and/or installation of residential and light commercial systems. Upon completion of the required courses, a diploma is awarded by the College. The courses for the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology diploma may be applied toward the Associate in Applied Science Degree – Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology.
