We’re excited to welcome you to SCC!

You may be asking, “What does SOAR stand for?” It stands for Student Orientation & Academic Readiness. SOAR is a key component to your success at SCC.

SOAR to Success!

Congratulations and welcome to Southeastern Community College! This SOAR course is designed to prepare new students for success and to provide important information to SCC students. All new students are required to complete the course because a face-to-face SOAR was not possible due to COVID-19. Other students may use this course as a resource.

Please review the resources provided. Once you complete it, please email angie.uhl-kalev@sccnc.edu to complete the process.

If you have questions about the content of the SOAR program or SCC, please contact Student Services at 910.788.6358.

Please feel free to access these resources as often as you wish.
