Wilderness Survival (REC-114)

Course Description

This course is designed to acquaint the camper with wilderness survival skills. Topics include selecting equipment, bushwhacking, mapping, safety, orienteering, foraging for food, identifying and constructing shelter, and low impact camping. Upon completion, students should be able to survive in a wilderness setting with minimal equipment and supplies.
