This course is designed to provide an overview of the ecology, biology, and societal impact of invasive species. Topics include survey of major invasive species; management strategies; legal, regulatory, and ethical considerations; sociological aspects; and identification of invasive species partnerships and other authorities. Upon completion, students should be able to include their knowledge of invasive species in policy/procedure deliberations.
