Career & College Promise (CCP) students must be at least finished with their high school junior year. If you are graduating high school in June 2023, you can still attend.

Get a taste of agriculture! Do you love learning about animals, getting your hands dirty, and wide open spaces? The Agriculture Camp is perfect for students interested in discovering one of the most important resources in our world. Hands-on learning that is a great way to have a productive Summer. Students will earn a certificate at the end of the semester.
You may not be able to legally drive a car yet, but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn some basics of how to keep a car running properly for when that day does come.
Learn how to open the hood and safely check and adjust fluid levels, check engine hoses and belts, check and adjust tire pressures, check windshield wipers and lighting systems, and more.
Build your Summer! One of our most popular camps is BACK for Summer 2023. We’re preparing high school juniors and seniors with the industry skills needed to thrive.
After successful completion of this camp, students will receive the Intro to Facilities Maintenance Certificate. Graduating seniors may be eligible for paid fall work-based learning opportunities.
Calling all Brain Builders! Join us this summer and explore ways that you can be a future “brain builder” by teaching young children and other opportunities available in the field of early childhood education. Upon completion, students will be eligible to receive a North Carolina Early Childhood Education Credential Only the brave choose to teach!
Explore the world of engineering through SCC’s engineering camp. Learn basic wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics and more. The world needs more engineers. Will that engineer be you?
Make a spark this Summer! Explore the exciting field of welding! You will learn the basics of welding technology through hands-on experience with welding equipment.

Give nursing a shot!
The Nurse Aide course is a perfect first step into a career in healthcare. In this course, you will learn the basic nursing assistant skills that you need to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and you will be prepared to take the CNA exam. Certified Nurse Aides are in high demand and are a critical part of a healthcare provider’s team.
Summer fire camp will consist of learning about the fire service, fire behavior, and the gear and tools firefighter use. Skills will be taught such as fire extinguisher use, forcing doors and windows for firefighters to gain entry.
