Purpose
Upward Bound is an academic and cultural enrichment program designed to help high school students develop the skills and motivation necessary for successful high school and college experiences.

Eligibility Requirements
You are eligible for SCC's Upward Bound program if you (are):
- Between the ages of 13 and 18
- Promoted to the ninth grade
- A first generation college student (neither parent has a four-year college degree)
- A citizen of the United States
- Preferably a rising freshman in high school who is in good academic standing
- Meet federal income guidelines
Scholarship Information
Upward Bound offers two (2) scholarships yearly to graduating seniors, who will attend Southeastern Community College, during the upcoming Fall/Spring Semester. (scholarship application)
