Personal Leave

Employees who do not earn annual leave may take up to two personal leave days per fiscal year for essential purposes not covered by other sources of leave (e.g., sick leave).  Leave requests must be in writing and approved by the employee’s vice president upon recommendation by the employee’s supervisor(s).  Personal leave time must occur in full day increments and will not be permitted on an hourly basis.  Personal leave of more than two days is generally leave without pay and must be approved by the president upon recommendation by the employee’s supervisor(s) and vice president.
