In conformance with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other applicable laws and regulations, Southeastern Community College will not discriminate against any employee, or applicant for employment because of physical disabilities.


Any employee or applicant with a disability who wishes to request a reasonable accommodation must contact the Human Resources Office. The request should be supported by medical, psychological, or other appropriate documentation. Once the request is submitted the Human Resources Administrator will work with the appropriate Vice President to develop a plan for the requested accommodation. Components of the plan will be developed in accordance with the specific needs of the applicant/employee based on the documentation submitted.
