ATTENTION STAFF:
Leave days must be planned to maximize energy savings; therefore, all staff will take two leave days – Thursday and Friday, December 29 & 30, 2011. The campus offices and buildings will be closed beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, through Monday, January 2, 2012, except for necessary classes. The college will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2012. Supervisors will continue to use their discretion in requesting special assistance from personnel during these holidays.
The daytime work schedule for fall and spring semesters is Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. This is a 38-hour workweek. The extra one-half hour each week allows the administration to remove one annual leave day earned each semester from the mandatory leave schedule for the Christmas Holidays. The college will be closed on December 21 and December 28, 2011, but these two days will not be charged as annual leave days.
ATTENTION FACULTY:
Christmas and New Year's holidays for faculty begin on Friday, December 16, 2011, at 3:00 p.m.
Responsibilities resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
