Distance Learning plays an important role in fulfilling Southeastern Community College's purpose, mission, and goals. The purpose of this department is to manage the framework whereby high quality and relevant learning experiences are made available to Southeastern Community College students anytime, anywhere. Promoting an environment of cultural, ethnic, racial, and gender diversity in its services, support practices, and programs' the ideals of the college are embodied in the courses created, maintained, and monitored by the Distance Learning Department.
Since establishing its Distance Learning program in 1999, Southeastern Community College has steadily increased its distance learning enrollment and offerings. Southeastern's distance learning course offerings include online, hybrid, reduced-seat- time, and web-enhanced courses.
